WordPress.org still rocks as OSS CMS utility platform. Easy crafting web projects in my cloud space & then push to client on most servers. Just did WordPress launch on GoDaddy for an author’s site with book–don’t use them as host or registrar but my free GoDaddy Pro status manages worst clients ;-)

Been a year since Barber Bob closed the MGEX Barbershop 💈 and fun to see the Media blitz we got. But mothballing the site to the old WordPress morgue on anniversary tomorrow.

Finally finished transferring domains out of Google before migration to Squarespace. Porkbun has been handy to use as a new registrar, especially the External Domain feature to set up DNS before transfer to eliminate any downtime or anomalies. Porkbun was recommended here on Micro.blog. Thanks!

Reviving Help Desk service on my indie web & publishing consulting biz to manage client email threads & workflow. Freemium SASS solutions abound all the way up to Atlassian Jira, a massive platform. Instead, opting to own data & massage GPL code with solid WordPress plugin WSDesk by ELEX.

Daily photo of Little Free Library box to update my LibraryThing collection for status of books available or gone. Some 600 titles logged for 2022. Tiny HTML/CSS/JS site embeds current LibraryThing shelf plus a local Tweet feed. Longfellow.Life

Blog first!

Blah Blah Blah TLDR…later…

This week I completed a new web hosting setup on Cloudways for my pro platform. Working nicely for PHP CMS projects & plain-jane HTML/CSS/JS so far. Fully featured, solid UI, and very flexible in many ways. Especially enjoy precision STAGING!
