  • Drupal 11 was an easy install on Cloudways. Will play in the demo app for a while, then eventually load the new CMS on top. Been a while since using Drupal. Hoping for the ideal UXs for both admin & users. Could be a sweet off-ramp from WordPress drama.

    Finally finished transferring domains out of Google before migration to Squarespace. Porkbun has been handy to use as a new registrar, especially the External Domain feature to set up DNS before transfer to eliminate any downtime or anomalies.   • Reviving Help Desk service on my indie web & publishing consulting biz to manage client email threads & workflow. Freemium SASS solutions abound all the way up to Atlassian Jira, a massive platform. Instead, opting to own data & massage GPL code with solid WordPress plugin WSDesk by ELEX.

  • Daily photo of Little Free Library box to update my LibraryThing collection for status of books available or gone. Some 600 titles logged for 2022. Tiny HTML/CSS/JS site embeds current LibraryThing shelf plus a local Tweet feed. Longfellow.Life
